The ORCID code (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a non-commercial alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies scientists and academic authors. As of January 2025, in order to publish in journals, authors must have this identifier. Authors who do not have this personal identifier can register free of charge at https://orcid.org/register
The international scientific community is informed that the research profile of all authors should be updated on orcid.org.
